Recently, this poster was on everyone's lips here in Mexico because it was thought to have been made with AI. The artist has to leave the work and show the public the Speedpainting of the creation of the illustration.

Broadly speaking, it is a work commissioned by the government of Guadalajara Mexico, not to promote pride in the city. In this we see how two women dressed in Mexican folklore costumes enjoy dancing together. In a clear act of romantic love In a warm and very well created environment.

The most interesting thing about this work is how the past and present of Mexico are mixed, to make visible that being queer is not something new.Show it yes, but it has always existed. Having to be repressed and more so in a country as conservative as Mexico is.Many people in the country take part of the culture and folklore to justify that this is how things should be.

In this poster we see how these two things come together, showing that no, there is no rule of how to be or how to act, just show who you are, being yourself. A nice detail that can be noticed is how the ladies' dresses clearly have colors alluding to the queer flag, but at the same time preserving elements and patterns of the design of the original the dress.
