Love (or Hate) Victor, We Need More Nuanced Representation

Okay, this is a 3 season series, airing on Hulu (that's where I watched it ). It was released within the period of 2020-2022. It's a series inspired by 'Love, Simon' which was a hit coming-out-of-age movie.

I'd like to point out that the main character (Victor) isn't part of the lgbtq+ community (irl), and one of my critics about this series was it lacked a character, to be specific a stronger main character enhances a series like no other, and series like these, need strong presence, I'm not saying he wasn't a great actor (trust me he is) , he needed to do more research on the community as a whole, I didn't see much passion and I found myself dying in the inside on some of the scenes.

Now for the storyline, for the first two season the endings do make sense (if you get what I mean). They weren't rushed and cut short like the 3rd of Love, Victor was. It sometimes didn't add up, and was left confused and completely thrown off on what was even going on.

If there was more to be seen I would have liked to see Victor exploring the LGBT community on the first season, he did Google some on one of the episode, but for just a second. I would have liked him to kind off stay in the closet for a little longer, making it relateable to how hard it is to come out to anyone you know. What I did like was the comedy actually it was funny, with some jokes, but that's not what we're reviewing here
